Wedding Reception

Dear Peter,

I wanted to take this time to thank you for the professional manner in which you handled our wedding reception on July 13, 1991. I have been terribly busy since the wedding and apologize for sending this letter to you so late, however, I wanted to make sure you know how appreciative we were of the services you provided. Mark and I received numerous compliments from our relatives and guests on how personable and friendly you were and how much they enjoyed the music selection you played.

You were wonderful also in guiding all of us through the reception and ensuring that everyone knew what was on the "agenda" for the night. Looking back, I realize how many "nitty gritty" details there were, and I appreciate the smooth and confident manner in which you handled each aspect of the reception. You posses a nice sense of humor that people can relate to and it was clear to us that our guests felt comfortable and at ease. All had a great time.

It was very nice of you to let us use your microphone to sing along to our favorite tunes. Granted, some of us were pretty drunk at the time (except me, the bride, of course), and our singing was loud and off-key, but it was fun nonetheless. In fact, the candid shots taken during those moments captured some warm memories that definitely will be treasured in years to come.

Once again, thank you for all that you did in making our reception so lively and fun. You definitely made it a "magical" moment to treasure and Mark and I would not hesitate to give your name to prospective clients. We wish you continued success in your endeavours and hope to use your services again in the future.
